About Your Instructor:
Frank is a comedian, director, writer, and actor from Ridgewood, NY. He was formerly artistic director of The Queen’s Secret Improv Club (The QSIC) in LIC and a teacher at The Annoyance Theater NY. He was a member of the house teams Attack Heart Attack at Magnet Theater, Jacob’s Parting Gift at QSIC, Salt at Annoyance Theatre NY, and Sick Passenger at the PIT. He can be seen performing in his two-man group Genetic Freaks, Dirty Little Secrets, and is currently in the cast of BATSU! NYC.

About The Course:
Intro To FOU Improv is a really fun 6 week course designed to introduce both the novice performer and veteran improviser to Face Off Unlimited's style and approach to improvisation. Through easy to learn games and exercises, this high energy improv class will break you out of your shell (and out of your head) and set you on a path of a more truthful comedy mindset. About Your Instructor:
Jay Painter is co-founder and Artistic Director of Face Off Unlimited specializing in immersive, interactive and improvisational experiences. Jay leads the development of all FOU productions including BATSU! (NYC, Chicago), Goon River (Times Square Arts Center), A Whole ‘Nother Level (national college tour), Two Gentlemen of Verona (Secret Theatre), among others. As a theatre director, his work has been seen at Aquila Theatre, Gym at Judson, NYU Kimmel Center, the Onassis Center, and Alvin Ailey Dance Center. Jay has experience in training and facilitating across a broad spectrum of clientele including Gucci, PEPSICO, Citigroup, Con Ed, PSEG, and many others. He’s held appointments at Columbia Business School, Berklee School of Music, Parsons School of Design, U.C. Santa Barbara, and NYC’s Tisch School of the Arts. Alongside Eric Robinson and Joe Tex, Jay developed and taught the Face Off style of improv over the last 20 years.
